Standard 1. Environmental and Social Performance.
Through this course, you will learn specific information about the Environmental and Social Performance Standard 1, applicable to all projects financed by the IDB. You will study and apply the requirements to manage different levels of environmental and social risks in two fictitious projects. The course is aimed at people in the region who regularly manage environmental and social risks, both in project preparation and supervision. They may work at the IDB, other multilateral organizations, consulting firms, executing agencies, or other government agencies.
