What is Digital Health?
Digital Health is an interdisciplinary field that integrates digital technologies, data, innovation, and new organizational models to improve health systems, strengthen decision-making, and expand access, quality, and continuity of care.
It includes the strategic use of health information systems, interoperability, telehealth, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, and digital transformation processes oriented toward people and health systems.
Digital Health is not limited to the adoption of technology; it also involves changes in cultural and organizational structures, along with management practices, as well as the development of new professional capabilities to address current and future challenges in health systems.
