The PM4R Agile training course for Development Project Management was designed and organized by the Inter-American Institute for Economic and Social Development (INDES) as part of the Project Management for Results (PM4R) initiative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) aimed at improving the competencies of project teams made up of members of executing agencies. IDB staff and members of liaison bodies.
Recipients of this training are expected to strengthen their planning abilities with a hybrid project management approach that takes best practices from SCRUM, Agile, and Lean, among others. This is intended to ensure that the programs or projects under their responsibility achieve visibility of results in less time and with frequent deliveries of value.
The course begins with a Start-up webinar and preliminary activities, and then continues with a 5-week virtual phase made up of 5 learning steps.
