Environmental and Social Performance Standard 4. Disaster risk. Ed. 4°

Course on the Environmental and Social Performance Standard 4 (ESPS 4) on disaster risk. This brief training program will bring you closer to ESPS 4, with a focus on managing the risks caused by natural hazards and climate change, that can have a significant impact on development projects.  

Through videos, charts, infographics, and questionnaires, you will be able to recognize the critical path to identify, reduce, and manage the risks of disasters caused by natural hazards and climate change to safeguard development projects during their execution and operation.  

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS 

Minimum technical requirements that the participant must meet: 

• Be an advanced Internet user capable of performing searches, accessing videos, and downloading documents 
• Manage a personal email account to receive notifications and be informed of course developments. 
• Have notions of technical drawing to interpret graphs. 
• Have a reliable internet connection to be able to connect to the course uninterruptedly. 
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
