The recipient of this badge successfully completed the online course from INDES/IDB "Principles of reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment – PREIA" comprising 5 modules studied over 6 weeks. They can now to effectively and efficiently review ESIA documents. Participants will learn international best practices and strengthen their economic, environmental, and social decision-making skills and knowledge in the specific context of a proposed action or project. This badge is awarded to the participant voted by their peers as the most enthusiastic classmate with the best forum contributions.  Only one Forum master badge is awarded per course edition. Throughout the development of the course, the owner of this badge has shown active participation, and has actively engaged in the forum activities and debates. The owner has been voted by their peers as the person whose involvement in the debate has added the most value, due to their: Frequent interventions Valuable content Engagement with the overall conversation The forum activities in this course include: Café forum, to introduce the participant and get to know all the classmates; Individual forum activities, where they need to reflect on the materials provided and comment on other participant’s insights; and Group forum activities, where the participants need to debate and agree on the group’s deliverables. Note: The participant will receive a confirmation email with the badge. In addition, they will be able to see the badge in their profile and add it to their social media profiles. The owner of this badge is eligible for a 50% discount on their next online course administered by the Environmental and Social Safeguards Unit of the IDB. The 50% discount is a one-time offer and it is valid for a period of 1 year from the emission of the badge.
