  2. Leading in a Changing Context: We will develop strategies to understand and manage the social and technical environment of projects, strengthening our ability to influence and mobilize resources strategically.
  3. Leading Project Teams: We will address how to form and lead diverse, high-performing teams, promote collaborative decision-making, and facilitate productive meetings.
  4. Practical Application: We will put into practice what we have learned through specific tools from our toolkit, such as SWOT analysis, the GROW method, and others, to support development as leaders and in the execution of your projects.

PM4R Leadership -FINAL- 2025
Project management (PM4R)

We welcome you to the PM4R Leadership course, developed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) through the Institute for Economic and Social Development (INDES). This course is part of the PM4R program, which promotes the implementation of effective methodologies for managing development projects and social impact in our region.

Effective leadership is essential to achieve the expected outcomes in projects that involve multiple stakeholders, changing contexts, and limited resources. In this course, we will explore skills, tools, and strategies that will allow you to lead more effectively, considering the technical and social complexities of the projects.

What will we cover in this course?

  1. Personal Leadership: We will reflect on the importance of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage our emotions and behaviors in the face of challenges.
